Miley Cyrus just "Can't Be Tamed"
It would be a sin not to post something about Miley Cyrus' new single, "Can't Be Tamed" on Hollywood Beginnings. The single was released to Myspace yesterday. There has been tons of buzz about this single and "the evolution of Miley." Although it wasn't a full fledged album, "The Time of Our Lives," was a nice segway bewteen this album and "Breakout." If you care what Miley Cyrus does because you or your kids look up to her, checking out "Wonder World" would give you a clue as to who Miley is and wants to be seen as. During that tour she owned the stage each night, rocking out with every beat of her heart. She wasn't suggestive, she wasn't sexy, she was... Miley. A singer/songwriter/ actress who wants to show the world that good art starts with meaning and passion.
"Can't Be Tamed" has a new sound, and just like "Party in the USA" sends the question, "this is Miley Cyrus?" With lyrics that let the world know Cyrus doesn't want to be caged into a restrictive role anymore.
The song says a lot, so I suggest everyone get their minds out of the gutter and give it a listen. Just because the world revolves around sex and greed, doesn't mean Miley Cyrus does. The song is not only her personal message, but a message to females everywhere to stay true to yourself.
"Can't Be Tamed" will be released to radio Tuesday May, 4th and as a single to purchase May 18th. Look forward to the full album, "Can't Be Tamed" June 22nd.
