Instead of celebrity rehab, I recommend that stars host Saturday Night Live. Miley Cyrus hosted, and got four years of scandals off her chest, because if you can't laugh at yourself, who can you laugh at? Miley said "Hannah Montana was the Disney Channel's version of Black Swan," and while she usually is a "white swan," she has had her "black swan" moments.
Cyrus played Fergie, Justin Bieber, and even hosted a little infomercial. Miley joins the ranks of Jodie Foster, Fred Savage, Taylor Lautner, Macaulay Culkin, and Drew Barrymore, as some of the youngest people to host Saturday Night Live. The show was a pleasure for die hard fans, and followers of the entertainment industry alike. Topics included Charlie Sheen, (of course) Christian Dior (whose employee Galliano was fired after anti-Semitic remarks) and the infamous salvia bong.
SNL has always been known for its political and celebrity mockery, however, comic relief couldn't have come at a better time for Cyrus, who has been caught in a windstorm after her father's comments about her and the show that made her famous in the March issue of GQ magazine. Viewers obviously responded well, since reports today have "The Miley Show" with the second highest ratings of the current season.
