Dotstudioz creators Joe Pascual and Phoenix Gonzalez are launching a video management system which creates an online workflow for media producers. Dotstudioz is “An entertainment technology company fostering empowerment in the online space.”
The "Dotstudio" dashboard gives broadcasters and filmmakers the same access to data driven analytics and digitally driven monetization tools as networks and large production companies. With 10,000 submissions to Sundance Film festival, were only about 15-17 films get distribution deals, with one film at best actually breaking even. Studios just aren’t buying. Media Producers are having to become their own distribution engines, and Dotstudioz offers a more democratized distribution space where media producers can create a brand, build an organic audience, and leverage their data.
Another highlight of the "Dotstudio Dashboard" enables media producers to use their own domain URL as the central hub to communicate with their show’s entire social graph. All of these empowering tools help to foster a targeted advertising approach where media producers can use geo blocking as a tool to successfully create monetization windows with brands, marketers and advertisers. Dotstudioz creators have positioned their product the "Dotstudio Dashboard" as digital workflow that becomes a part of the life cycle of production. It picks up were Final Cut Pro left off. Right now Dotstudioz’s product the "Dotstudio Dashboard" is being integrated with Canada’s niche online network OUT TV. While the program is not ready to launch globally, the free version will become widely available in the next couple of months.
