Khadijah and the Mirror is a children's book that was written with the purpose of empowering children to be who they are. Johnnett Kent, a former educator, saw firsthand how children are trying to find how they fit into this world. Khadijah was inspired by the ideal that children need to feel good about themselves in order to become productive members of society.
