Throughout most of Season 3, Peter is in love with who he thinks is Olivia, but it’s actually Olivia from the alternate universe. If I were Peter I would feel torn. Should he return to the original Olivia, or stay with the Olivia he has fallen for? I would stay with the person I was currently in love with. If the Olivia he fell for was an alternate version of who he thought, he fell in love with all the attributes of the woman in the alternate universe, it wouldn't be fair to return to the original Olivia, knowing there might be something missing from his connection with her. Altering the Future with Fringe

At the end of Season 3, Peter makes the decision to sacrifice himself thus altering the future. If I had the opportunity to change the future I definitely would take matters into my own hands rather than let fate decide since the prospect of managing the future couldn’t hurt. Although I’m not sure I would be able to make a better decision than leaving the impending events up to fate. Peter sacrifices himself in the case of Fringe. Life usually doesn’t present itself with win- win situations, so like Peter we have to make choices that we think are the best for us at the moment. Worlds Colliding: Fringe Season 3 on DVD/Blu-Ray

In the series, Fringe, worlds are co-dependent. What occurs in one world is affected by the actions in the other world. Our professional and personal lives often collide, and effect the way we present ourselves. I live in Hollywood and sometimes it feels like a dream land. Like Fringe, I feel like I have two different worlds I live in. The land of Hollywood where everything seems to be magnified to the nth degree, and the land of my former life where everything seems stable and unchanging. The hardest part of functioning in both worlds is that when people put you on a pedestal, it's hard not to be far from your true self. Being grounded by links between both "worlds" is the saving grace in functioning whether it's personal or professional life. It's a constant battle of rediscovering yourself in my profession, because there isn't much that is stable, so I feel my worlds collide often. Television can be a great temporary escape from real life, and sometimes it can even give us something to relate to!

On The "Fringe" Of Glory: Season 3 on DVD!

In Season 3 of Fringe, Olivia and her alternate version switch places – wherein each Olivia becomes trapped in her own alternate universe.
Since I tend to over think everything, in my alternative universe I would make a lot more snap judgements, where I was unafraid of consequences.  The past will always be daunting, since eventually, even Olivia returns from her stint of freedom. My alternate self would be the uninhibited version of myself. I would do things that I have always wanted to do, but have been too timid to, like jump out of a plane, go rock climbing, and go bungee jumping. Dealing with an alternate universe might be a great way to escape the problems of everyday life. Until that becomes a reality all we can do is watch Fringe and dream.
