Liam Hemsworth

Australian native Liam Hemsworth, co-star of the new film, "The Last Song" is bound to become a super star in no time. Not because Miley Cyrus confirmed him as her boyfriend at the Oscar's Sunday night, but because of his acting abilities, and low key personality. Acting runs in the Hemsworth Family, Liam's older brother Chris was the star of the movie, Thor (who Liam lost the role to). His brother Luke is also an actor and played in the soap Neighbours, as well. You may not have heard much about Liam before The Last Song, because he was cast for the movie without an agent, after being in the US for only a few weeks. Liam starred in the Australian soap opera, Neighbours as a paraaplegic. Liam played an MIT student in the 2009 film, Knowing." Liam, pictured above with Adam Shankman, producer of "The Last Song", Has signed on to a film production of "Arabian Nights", directed by Chuck Russel (The Scorpion King). Liam seems to be holding his own in the acting world, and although there are a few weeks until the release of "The Last Song", previews generate good vibes about this young star's abilities, as well as on- screen chemistry with Cyrus. Liam's role as Will Blakelee in "The Last Song" is a perfect breakout role for any actor, given the depth of the Character, and although this should not be the focus, inevitable exposure due to co-starring alongside Cyrus who has maximum name power. Looking past March 31, 2010, Liam Hemsworth is an actor to watch.
