Jonas L.A. Soundtrack Review

Jonas L.A. is a pretty hip show, with an even better musical vibe than the first season. If you're expecting something to the standards of Lines Vines, and Trying Times, you'll be disappointed, but these tracks more than cover the small span a soundtrack for a Disney Channel show will allow. Nick Jonas co-wrote 11 of the 14 tracks and even Joe Jonas got in on the writing action for a couple tracks. Nick Jonas raps in a track, and even says "shawty" several times. (Look out Justin Bieber). The tracks have a definite pop feel, and I was left thinking that Nick Jonas sounded more like Justin Timberlake than a Jonas Brother. My personal track reccommendations are "Summer Rain", "Make It Right". and the acoustic version of "Critical". If you're already a Jonas fan, this soundtrack won't let you down, but I wouldn't base the musical talent of the Brothers on this album. This soundtrack is a great bridge between last summer's LVATT and the Jonas Brothers' new album to be released later this year.
