Jamison Wallen, originally from Celvland, OH, known as "Phantom Soul", currently lives and creates in Tampa, FL. His musical roots are hip hop, but what always touched him was rythm and blues. "I sing R&B, but I do it with a hip hop heart," says Jamison. The coolest part about his music is the "phantom" concept, "The intention of concealing the artist was to determine if people liked the music for the music’s sake rather than appreciating it because of the unexpected source." Jamison's marketing technique really aims to please the listener. “I can easily come up with 10 ideas in the amount of time it takes to sit down and complete an entire song. Why devote so much time and creative energy to something that might not get the people excited? As an artist we all tend to have our own favorite tracks for one reason or another, and I’ve found that many times we run full steam into things because we’d buy them.
