Children's Hospital airs on "Adult Swim" on Cartoon Network. Both lovers and haters of hospital dramas can appreciate this raunchy spoof on hospital life. There are plenty of awkward situations that we can all relate to from our own jobs.
In my own experience, a friend at work revealed to the boss that she had a crush on a guy on the same shift. One day, the two of them were caught in a compromising position in the stock room. The boss laughed and walked out in shock. It became the talk of the workplace, and while the boss actually thought it was funny, she kept a close eye on the two in an effort to ensure productivity. It was a workplace romance gone bad. The boss ended up counseling the girl, telling her that the guy was no good for her, and that she could do better. It would have been less awkward if the boss had never known about the crush. While the work wasn't as serious as saving lives, the satire is all the greater in Children's Hospital. While doctors are getting down and dirty in the surgical ward in one scene, an announcement is made that a building has collapsed and all the staff is needed. The show stars Rob Corddry and Megan Mullally and is just plain raunchy satirical humor. For a good laugh, tune into Children's Hospital on Cartoon Network.
